Laura Powell is a working artist and high school art teacher living in New Jersey. Currently a Painting M.F.A. candidate at the Savannah College of Art and Design, she plans to graduate in Spring of 2022 after completing her Strange Beauty thesis exhibition. Prior education includes an Art History M.A. from Azusa Pacific University and an Art Education B.F.A. from Long Island University. Laura has been a high school educator for seven years, teaching drawing, painting, animation and graphics classes.
